This is so awesome! Tramp stamps have typically been either butterfly wings or some weird tribal tattoo. But it seems one hardcore gamer has decided to go a different route with her tramp stamp and pay homage to an old school classic, Duck Hunt.

My Mom & Me

I didn't want to go to bed right away tonight, so I decided to fool around with Photoshop a bit. I learned a popular neat little trick that makes a particular part of a picture pop out. It's actually not too hard to do and I'm enjoying what I'm able to do with it. The thing was, I needed a good photo that looked artsy in B&W for it to really work.

I looked through iPhoto to see if I could find something, and I saw all the pictures from my older brother's wedding in October. And that's how I came to this picture of my mother and I. So, I decided to photoshop it up. Check out the finished product above.

Oh yea, I decided to send my mom this picture as well. It's rare that I'm this thoughtful, so I thought I'd put it to full use. Love you ma.

Dick Head T-Shirt

I've been called many a-curse word in my day, but I've never owned a shirt that represents a curse word that I've heard way too often in my lifespan.

If I knew where I could buy one of these shirts, you better believe that I'd wear it at the next wedding I'm invited to or the next family reunion. Even though I know I'd get dirty looks from my grandparents for inevitably wearing a nutsack on my shirt, it'd be worth it as long as ever time I see myself in a mirror, I can giggle like a 10 yr old boy.

Hello world, nice to see you again!

Well, according to my last blog post, it seems like it's been approximately two years since I last wrote anything. I think that's enough time for me to breathe some new life into my personal blog. I'm not sure who will end up reading this, but I'll try to be as entertaining as possible.

A little about myself since I am re-starting this blog o' mine. I am currently 25 years old, living in Fairview, NJ with my significant other, Jennifer. I pretty much have the dream job. I work as a public relations / marketing manager for FileFront.com (which is part of the Ziff Davis Game Group). More on that in future posts as I'm sure I'll have many exciting things to talk about when it comes to work.

Today was like any other day to be honest. I woke up, did my usual workout (which consists of burning between 250 - 300 calories a day playing Dance Dance Revolution), and did my work thing. Today though, I had a little bit of extra energy, so I decided to play drums in Rock Band during my lunch break. I always tend to go all out when I play Rock Band, so I had to take 2 showers today. I'm pretty much so clean that I'm actually glistening.

That's all for now. Big ups to Karla for reminding me how awesome it is to write again and for inspiring me to get back into chronically writing down my daily going ons so I can have great memories in the future.

John Mayer Interview - Opie & Anthony Show

I was listening to the Opie & Anthony show today and John Mayer was on and he is a really cool guy. He really influences me as an artist even more so now because he is always himself no matter what (he even said a couple of dirty things which made him seem more like a regular person). I really hope this whole music thing takes off, I would love to work with him one day. I mean, we both have similar likes and dislikes from what I heard in the interview.

BTW: My music is on hold due to financial reasons. It's hard to finish the project when I am paying for the majority of my recording studio time all by myself since no one wants to help fund my project (and even though I'm cool with my producers, I learn that people are out for the almighty dollar, but that's a different story for a different day) Hopefully I can get a job soon so I can finish the rest of my album. It sucks though because if I get a job, it'll be hard to pursue my music (i.e. doing shows). It really is a double-edged sword.

Oh well, I promise that once my album is released, I will do my best to do as many shows as I possibly can.

Este Mundo - DONE!

I just received the complete version of another track for my album called "Este Mundo". It's a deeper song than the other ones, it's basically my "heal the world"... lol. But it has a very strong feel to it. I have gotten really great reviews on it from my closest of closes since this is a track that I will not release until I release my EP. But trust me folks, this is another one that you need to hear.

Panic! At The Disco - June 30th - Sayerville

Wow...what a show... it started with a band I never heard of called "The Hush Sound", but I liked what I heard and I will pick up their album very soon. The drummer Darren was also a sight to see. He had so much energy and had alot of facial expressions that added to his energy. Great band.

Then, came out these two unknowns that I really didn't like at all. They started off with an alternative version of "Oops I did it again!" that was more stupid than cool. And then they had a 10 minute song that was just keyboard and drums where the girl performer (who was on keyboards) was making dumb faces while the drummer just beat away at the drums.

But then, Panic! At The Disco came out and it was a great show! I know the majority of the songs (it's been a while since I knew the bands entire catalog, so it was nice to feel like a young kid again, studying all the lyrics of my favorite band) The band had great energy, great presence, great use of lights (there were some times where there was one center light on the stage pointing towards the band where it would look like it was a 1920's performance, very unique!)

So if anyone is looking for a great band to follow, I highly suggest Panic! At The Disco. They are a refreshing, unique band that have great songs and just a great sound in general!
